SORRY, THIS PROPERTY HAS BEEN SOLD!

Several great rivers are within about a half hour from the property as well.

This 9.7 acre tract is on the south end of Whitetail Crossing and is VERY private. The property has good access on a private road which is only for the use of property owners and their guests. The road dead ends just a couple of hundred feet after the property giving you maximum privacy. This is Tract 14 at Whitetail Crossing.

In the photo above (taken with our drone) you can see that Tract 14 is covered in good timber. There are numerous places on the 9.7 acres that could be excellent spots to build or camp.

This photo above shows the tracts at Whitetail Crossing. Tract 14 is located on the south east side of Whitetail Crossing. There are multiple areas on the property that could be suitable for building, camping or hunting. Although the map above makes the property look "thin" it is actually 180 feet from north to south. This gives you quite a bit of privacy, especially if you build toward the middle or the east side of the property. Tract 14 offers many different building and camping opportunities.

Please refer to our interactive map above for additional property views and information. Please note that the boundary lines and measurements are approximate. This interactive map is BRAND NEW for us and if you have a chance we would love to have your feedback on it. Is it awesome? Is it great? Is it confusing? We would like to know!

Also, please note that on the interactive map it seems to work best if you click the "View Full Screen" option. Once you are in the "Full Screen" option you can select "Topo" to see a topographic map which does a good job of showing how the property is situated. It is fairly level on the east side by the private road and it slopes down gently as you move west.

In the photo above we are parked on the private easement road at the west side of Tract 14. We are looking north and the property is on the right side of the road.

The property is located about 6 miles southwest of Mountain View, Missouri and about 15 miles north of West Plains, Missouri. There is a HUGE tract of National Forest just a few miles to the west (shown on the map below). The property is private and secluded (with an amazing amount of wildlife) but is also within driving distance of several nice towns.

The map above shows the route to the property from Mountain View, Missouri.

This tract is subject to the 6 basic restrictions as shown on our website (no mobile homes, etc.). Homes or cabins built on the property must have a minimum concrete foundation size of 600 square feet (a simple 20 X 30 cabin would meet this requirement). Portable buildings are permitted for camping and storage but not for a permanent residence (unless they are at least 600 square feet and permanently attached to a 600 square foot foundation).

Close-up aerial map of the property. It is about 180 feet north to south, about 1,900 feet east to west.

To get to Whitetail Crossing from Mountain View, Missouri just go south out of town on Highway 17 for about 3 1/2 miles then go west onto County Road 2800. Go about 2 miles and when County Road 2800 takes a sharp turn to the right (north) you will go left (south) onto the private road that serves Whitetail Crossing. If it has been raining the road could be wet so a truck or suv would be better (in the rain).

Please feel free to go and check out the property. You will definitely want to print out all of the maps we have provided before visiting the property. If you would like us to email you all of the maps and pictures just let us know. Feel free to walk around or to bring your four wheeler to do some exploring. Power and phone are within about 1/2 a mile. We had good cell service (AT&T and Verizon are two two we tried) on all of the tracts at Whitetail Crossing.

If you are coming from Willow Springs (from the west) it is probably quicker to go south onto Highway "V" off of Highway 60. It will turn into County Road 2710. Go east onto County Road 2800 and proceed to the private road into Whitetail Crossing. The map above shows the property as 10 acres, although it is actually 9.7 acres in size.

This is one of those rare investment opportunities upon which you can create lifelong memories with family and friends.
